with courtyard, tapas restaurant, and full-service
bar serving afternoon tea daily. Owned by Doris Day
and Dennis LeVett, the Cypress Inn is also famous

facade hints Old World charm while making you feel
right at home in the intimate lounge or garden courtyard.
Just a short walk to Ocean Avenue’s boutiques,
galleries, and restaurants, the 44-room inn is central
to Carmel-by-the-Sea. Down the lane lies Carmel's
famous white-sand beach. Within easy walking distance
you'll find galleries, shopping, cafes and restaurants.

with either a queen size bed for a single or two
twin beds for a pair of friends. Feel free to inquire
about upgrades to ocean views or king size beds.
All rooms feature marble tile bathrooms, snuggly
bathrobes, complimentary sherry, fruit baskets, and
nightly turndown service. Additionally, each room
has an am/fm/cd player, hair dryer, iron and board,

Terry’s Bar, located just past the reception
desk, offers a variety of beverages including excellent
local whites and reds, making it the perfect spot
for meeting new friends. Don't miss classic Doris
Day movie posters recalling a time gone by.
Breakfast al fresco each morning will make you feel
as if you’ve awoken in a village on the Côte
d’Azur. The courtyard’s brilliant white
walls and red roof tiles coax climbing vines and
lush flora, creating a perfect spot for conversation,
a soothing cup of tea, or an evening glass of wine.

fax, computer, complimentary coffee, and wheelchair
accessibility. Incidentals available at your own
expense include phone calls, room service, laundry

de Carmel is located around the corner from its
sister-Inn, the Cypress Inn. Accommodations are
