Over a decade ago, Manifesta Safaris was founded on the principle that women can accomplish anything when allowed time to relax, recharge, and rediscover.

Manifesta Safaris offers women's vacations that combine fun, relaxation and new experiences, while fostering friendships, confidence, and self-esteem. In 1997, founder Bev Sanders designed Manifesta's first trip, the Las Olas Surf Safari for women. Bev led the first Las Olas Surf Safari in a small Mexican village at the edge of the warm Pacific Ocean. Her guests stayed in charming ocean-front bungalows, and fell asleep each night listening to the sounds of the waves they would learn to ride. This girlfriend's getaway has since become the "World's Premier Surf Safari for Women," successfully introducing thousands of women to surfing in a safe, nonjudgmental atmosphere.

The Manifesta team is based in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, where they also operate successful art, golf, and active safaris for women.
