Co-ed En Cera Encaustic (hot wax) Painting Safari ~ October
15th-18th
Open to solo women, men, couples, mothers and sons, fathers
and daughters, brothers and sisters, and pairs of friends.
As we've learned from mothers and daughters who've attended
Artista together, doing something creative is a great way to
reconnect with each other.
In a recent survey on co-ed safaris, Artista alumna felt our
non-judgmental, creative environment would be great fun for
men, too. Fellow alum Sunni Chapman summed it up best by saying, "It's
an opportunity to break down some important borders for men,
including the men loved and encouraged by the women of Artista!
It's a revolutionary 'next step' for any woman with true feminist
ideals at heart."
Just in case your guy isn't into painting, just let him know
that encaustic painting is not limited to paint and brushes.
There's a variety of fun gadgets and tools like putty knives,
cutting tools, and torches.
Artista alumna receive the Visionary rates for herself and
her travel companion regardless of when reservation is made.
And Artista will treat alumna to a dinner for two during the
safari.

Share your Artista story
Over the years, we've witnessed our guests go through significant
transitions during and after Artista safaris. Some changes
are big, like quitting jobs to become a full time painter.
Other changes are small, like simply finding one's artistic
confidence or giving oneself the time, space, and permission
to be creative.
Inspired by these uplifting stories, we'd like to share them
with readers on our website.
If you'd like to contribute your own success story for consideration,
just tell it in your own words. And don't worry, if we select
your story, we'll edit, proofread, and return your work for
approval prior to posting on our website. All stories must

J Jill Tee shirt Design Contest
You're invited to enter J.Jill's Nature of Compassion Design Contest. J.Jill's
design team is looking for original holiday tee shirt artwork that represents
your favorite inspiration from nature. Ten finalists will be chosen by the
J.Jill team, then those designs will be voted on in stores and on the J.Jill
website. The winning artist will be awarded an Artista three-day safari with
airfare and a $1000 shopping spree at J.Jill.
The contest ends May 28, 2007. There is no purchase necessary
to enter and entrants must be 18 years of age or older. Official

Proceeds from the tee shirt sales will benefit the J.Jill
Compassion Fund, which supports community-based organizations
that help poor and homeless women become self-sufficient.
