Our Las Olas Baja November Lineup:
________________________________________________________________________________________________
Kristy
Murphy
Although our veteran surf instructor is the inspiration behind
Las Olas Baja, Kristy is better known as the 2005 Women's
World Longboard Champion. But don't let her title scare you...
She also knows how to jump start a party on the spot and given
the right rhythm track, Kristy's spontaneous interpretive dancing
recitals may cause you to rethink your own life path.

Jessica
Burgett
Another seasoned Las Olas surf instructor, Jessica has been
surfing since there weren't many women in the waves. She has
called Mexico her home since 2002 and has surfed the entire
Pacific coast from Oregon to Southern Mexico. As a yoga instructor,
Jessica's teaching style combines traditional yoga with postures
specific to surfing. When she's not teaching yoga and surfing
at Las Olas, she teaches English to children in Mexico.

Sofia
Silva
Our skillful massage therapist first learned to surf with Las
Olas' staff in 1999. She is originally from Mexico City,
but has lived on the coast for over a decade, working with
a non-profit to preserve the culture of the Huichol Indians.
Sofia is also a talented painter, henna body artist, speaks
three languages, and teaches Spanish.

Nicole
Pratt
Before joining Las Olas, Nicole split her time playing soccer
for a globetrotting women's team and surfing at her home
break in San Diego. She has followed the waves to Indonesia,
Japan, Hawaii and Mexico, storing inspiration for her clothing
line for female surfers. In her spare time, Nicole throws awesome
theme parties.

Michael
McDaniel
As Operations Manager for Las Olas, Mike insures safaris run
smoothly by making sure our guest's needs come first. For the
past decade, Mike has surfed up and down the California Coast,
Baja, Mainland Mexico, Costa Rica, and Japan. When he's not
surfing, he races paddleboards, plays tennis and bocce, and
fishes for salmon and tuna near his home in Monterey Bay.
